I more often go for salty snacks than the sweet ones, so here are my two (favorites !) picks of this week.
Endamame
Endamame is a immature soybean. I normally buy them frozen. They can be steamed, boiled, pan-fried or microwaved.
They have great amounts of Protein, Fiber and Vitamin K. Plus endamame is low in carbs.
Hummus and Carrots
The primary ingredient of hummus is chickpea.Low in fat, high in Protein and great amount of fiber as well.
And the perfect "to-go snack".
The carrots are the perfect pair for hummus, they are delicious and crunchy and with a wholesome of health benefits including beta carotenes, vitamin A and antioxidants .
Let's make snack fun and healthy!!
