ICE OR HEAT??

From time to time I get pain in my knee, especially if I am training for a

triathlon, running uphill, or going for a long distance hike.

Sunbeam FlexTemp™ Hot/Cold Joint Wrap is the perfect product that

provides both ice and heat options in just one product.

I use the ice therapy right after I complete demanding physical activities.

The cold effect really helps with my post exercise inflammation. This

product offers a convenient, removable, freezing pack.

In other situations, I use the heat therapy to relax my muscles,  the opposite

of what cold therapy does. Unlike cold therapy’s ability to constrict blood

vessels, heat allows for our blood vessels to expand our muscles to fully

relax.

Applying heat creates a warm, soothing effect since it relax the muscles and

increase the blood flow to accelerate tissue healing.

So when the question is ice or heat therapy, I say both!
